EDEL Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH

The German Machine Tool Group (GMTG) is a powerful alliance of the two German, family-owned mechanical engineering companies EDEL Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH and DEPO Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH.

Innovative process and productivity expertise meet over 100 years of experience and highest precision in mechanical engineering—the two companies, DEPO Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH from Marienfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia and EDEL Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH from Pliezhausen in Baden-Württemberg, complement each other perfectly in both their capabilities and product portfolios. With around 1,000 installed machines at renowned customers with the highest quality demands in tool and mold making, aerospace, and automotive industries, we can draw on extensive experience across a wide range of application requirements.

Highly-productive vertical, horizontal, and universal 3- and 5-axis machining centers for the manufacturing of complex and intricate component structures—even up to heavy-duty machining of high-strength materials—are now available from a single source. The modular machine design offers our customers maximum flexibility in individual configuration.

Thanks to a close technology partnership in the development of core components such as swivel milling heads, spindles, and rotary tables, we are able to offer you a manufacturing solution tailored specifically to your requirements—even beyond standard options.

With us, you receive machine tools whose components communicate flawlessly with each other, as they have been developed in perfect harmony.
