We are a company established in 1997 specializing in contract manufacturing of large components up to 50 tons. MSG Gera has positioned itself as a subcontractor for the machining of components for German and European plant engineering and large-scale machine tool manufacturing. Upon customer request, in addition to traditional milling and boring operations, we can also offer planing—especially for welded assemblies and clamping plates—surface and guideway grinding, as well as the creation of geometric inspection protocols via laser measurement. With our machinery, we are capable of milling large machine and cast components up to 15 meters and grinding up to 13 meters.

Another branch of our business is the retrofit of machine tools. Here, we offer complete overhaul and modernization of machine tools. We are specialized in assembly and disassembly, reassembly, retrofitting, and maintenance of machine tools and their individual components on-site at customer locations. We perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on-site. Maschinenservice Gera GmbH buys, sells, and brokers used machine tools of all types and manufacturers, both nationally and internationally.
