HAND GUARD Edition Single Flex:
Equipped with a saw head that pivots to one side, pivoting range: 0-46°; features a quick-change system for the main saw blade, and motorized height and pivoting adjustment for the main saw blade. Motorized height and pivoting adjustment with a maximum saw blade overhang of 154 mm. The control panel is positioned at eye level, allowing you to adjust the height and pivoting angle of the saw blade, as well as, depending on the control package selected, the speed and other functions. The Altendorf twin-roller carriage is renowned for its smooth operation and precise movement. It can be locked steplessly in any position. The large twin rollers ensure that the upper carriage and the lower carriage remain perfectly aligned within their respective guide rods. This smooth running quality is maintained even after decades of use and under dirty conditions. The carriage construction is designed as an extremely torsion-resistant and dimensionally stable multi-chamber system. In addition, there is a front support roller with a width of 300 mm.

HAND GUARD, pivoting to one side: The HAND GUARD system is based on the early detection of a hazardous situation, thereby protecting the operator from injury and functioning in every work situation. The camera-based system recognizes hands and, through its artificial intelligence, is able to predict their trajectory. Different zones, ranging from safe to triggering the system, provide visual warnings to the operator via an LED color strip to alert them to a potential hazard. If the danger persists, or if the hand moves directly towards the rotating saw blade, the saw blade is quickly lowered without damaging the person, the machine, or the material. Hand Guard supports the processing of all materials approved for panel saws, such as damp lumber, aluminum, and plastics. It cannot be deactivated in the standard configuration and has a permanent function. On machines with single-sided pivoting, saw blades up to 500 mm in diameter can be completely lowered under the work table. All approved, existing, or used tools can be used. No special requirements.
