ALZMETALL ALZMETALL AX 2/S

The ALZMETALL AX 2/S is the more compact sister machine to the ALZSTAR series. It is a professional, extremely precise bench or pillar drill (depending on the base), primarily used in precision engineering, training workshops, laboratories, and demanding workshops.

While the ALZSTAR 30/S is designed for "rough" work with a drilling diameter of up to 30 mm, the AX 2/S focuses on compactness and maneuverability for smaller drilling diameters, without compromising the typical Alzmetall stability.

Mechanically stepless drive: As with the larger sister model, the speed is adjusted steplessly and conveniently during operation via a mechanical control wheel (variator).

Digital display: The spindle speed is displayed digitally on a clearly visible display on the head of the machine as standard.

Compact size: With a net weight of approximately 180 kg, it is significantly lighter than the ALZSTAR 30/S (approx. 260 kg) and can still be transported or moved relatively easily if required.

Safety features: A lockable main switch with motor protection, a locking emergency stop button, and the electrically protected spindle guard are also standard features.
