The RD 1600 VARIO radial drilling machine is a professional device for drilling holes in metal, wood, and other materials. Thanks to its high power and robust design, it ensures fast and precise drilling even under the most demanding conditions. The powerful 4.0 kW motor is equipped with a frequency inverter and offers a wide speed range of 38–2000 rpm. The arm, spindle head, and column each feature independent hydraulic clamping. The worktable measures 1740 x 980 mm, and the machine is equipped with automatic spindle feed, a coolant system, and motorized arm height adjustment. Maximum drilling capacity is 60 mm; tapping capacity up to M46.

Standard features include stepless speed control with readout on a digital display, high spindle alignment with automatic brake, arm, head, and column all fitted with independent hydraulic clamps, a solid base suitable for machining large workpieces, and a massive, ground column ensuring smooth arm movement. The arm's motorized lifting function allows for series production without changing the spindle position. Control panel buttons allow locking/unlocking the head and column either together or individually. The arm guides are hardened and ground, and the machine's perfect balance ensures ideal feed of the spindle. Ideal for drilling, counterboring, reaming, and tapping.
