The CORMAK TORNADO 360×1000 VARIO is a professional conventional lathe designed for precision metalworking in manufacturing plants, toolrooms, and maintenance workshops. Its rigid construction, 1,000 mm distance between centers, powerful 2.4 kW motor, and Camlock D1-5 spindle mounting ensure excellent rigidity, stability, and repeatable machining performance, even during demanding cutting operations.

Rigid Construction for High Machining Accuracy

The lathe is built around a heavy-duty cast iron frame whose substantial weight and wide guideways effectively minimize vibration during machining. The hardened and precision-ground bed maintains its geometry even under intensive use, ensuring consistently high machining accuracy and excellent surface finish.

The spindle is mounted on precision bearings and features a Camlock D1-5 spindle nose for quick chuck changes and maximum rigidity. Its 52 mm spindle bore enables machining of larger-diameter materials, expanding the machine's application range.
