For sale is a used DYCOMETAL CRT2VT-180 thermal shock testing chamber with a combined hot air / water bath testing system.

The system is used to perform rapid thermal shock tests on components, assemblies, and materials.

The test specimen is placed on a pneumatically movable test specimen carrier (cradle). In the upper test area, conditioning is carried out using controlled hot air. Subsequently, the test specimen can be moved to the lower test area and directly immersed in the temperature-controlled water bath.

The rapid change between the hot air zone and the water bath creates a high thermal load. This allows temperature-related weaknesses, material fatigue and potential structural failures to be investigated.

The change between the test areas can be carried out manually or automatically. The immersion depth of the test specimen carrier is adjustable.
