Our universal lathes and lathes with stepless speed control from the PREMIUM CU series feature a wide range of features and accessories for customers across various industries.

The PREMIUM CU series allows precise adjustment of cutting speed to suit material and turning diameter – especially advantageous for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and for achieving perfect surface finishes on precision parts and fits.

A notable highlight is the integrated R/L control units mounted on the tool slides, enabling simple switching between clockwise and counterclockwise spindle rotation. These replace the conventional shift rods typically found on universal lathes.

The machine is equipped with electromechanical spindle brakes for extremely fast spindle stops, ensuring efficient handling. The leadscrews are fitted with overload protection.
