The 3D ultrasonic cutter from Fill enables three-dimensional contour trimming of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasound-activated cutting systems.

The principle:

The linear axis portal enables precise guidance of the ultrasonic knife with low space requirements and simple kinematics.
The Siemens CNC 840 D control allows the trimming device to be programmed like a machine tool.
Tool corrections or path changes can be easily performed directly on the machine.
The machine is equipped with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit as standard.
However, it can also be equipped with alternative systems. The knife is equipped with a separate rotary axis
to cut tight radii and save other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
