The coordinate drilling machine features the rare option of motorized table drive in the X and Y axes with potentiometers. This eliminates the need for laborious manual adjustment of the individual coordinates over long distances using hand cranks. Furthermore, it has rare thermal stabilization and expansion compensation. For this purpose, 2 heaters are provided, which can and must be switched on separately before starting work and to maintain high accuracy and dimensions. This explains the factory-high positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

What is unique is that the Hauser has two Heidenhain digital displays with a total of 4 glass scales with 1My resolution, including for the quill feed. This is a major advantage for precise drilling and facing in depth with Wohlhaupter, spindle tools, etc. With the options mentioned and in this first-class condition, it is very rare and most likely no longer available.

Those familiar with these machines, which are primarily used in the watch industry, precision engineering, material testing, and the optical industry, know the value of these masterpieces of mechanical engineering.
