The GIR250 is a bench‑top / transportable analyser designed to measure oxygen (O₂) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) simultaneously in gas samples.
It is made by Hitech Instruments (now part of the MTL / Eaton group).
Its design emphasizes ease of use, reliability, and low maintenance cost.
Other supporting features:
The instrument can be programmed with pass/fail criteria for each gas (alarms).
It provides analog outputs, typically 4–20 mA, for external logging or control systems.
Calibration is designed to be simple (via the front panel keypad) to reduce training burden.
