Technical data and description of the system:

IPETRONIK Interior Climate Simulation Box (new and unused)

The interior climate simulation box is designed to simulate the passenger compartment for testing in a recirculated air mode.
It has a variable interior volume of 1.8 to 4 m³.
The exhaust air volume flow from the front evaporator or the air conditioning unit is regulated and fed into the interior.
The interior climate simulation box is used to test only rear evaporators installed in the passenger compartment.
The insulating housing is mounted on an aluminum profile frame with rollers.
A light is installed in the chamber.

The box is protected against overtemperature by a safety thermostat (Esti).
If the permissible temperature is exceeded, a glass cartridge in the ESTI is destroyed. The system is stopped.

Pressure distribution plate made of laminated wood, can withstand a load of 1,500 N/rubber wheel (contact area > 4 cm2),
30,000 N/m2 surface load, floor joints completely welded, welded stainless steel pipe as a floor drain,

Sliding wall:

1680 x 1180 mm, 80 mm polyurethane rigid foam, 0.8 mm stainless steel sheet 1.4301 on both sides,
ground, grit 320, with protective film, closed with sheet metal on the reverse side

Recirculation system:

A heat exchanger (Systemair) for indirect temperature control is installed in the recirculation circuit for temperature control.
The air is conveyed via a radial duct fan (Cosmo); heating is provided by an electric heater (Türk und Hillinger) integrated into the brine circuit.
The heaters are continuously monitored by temperature monitors and limiters (Türk und Hillinger, Johnsson Controls).
Cooling is provided by a secondary brine circuit with pumps (KSB) and a 3-way valve (Belimo). Installed electrical heating power 1 * 6kW.
The mixing ratio is 50% water / 50% ethylene glycol.
