The inserts are unlocked by axially shifting the switching sleeve.
The tool change can be performed with the spindle both stationary and rotating.
Short insertion and retraction distances of the inserts allow for tool changes in seconds.
The quick-change system can be used vertically for both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation.
