Mauguière MAV 290/8

Machine description

This used Partenair S.MAX40/AC refrigerated compressed air dryer, built in July 2022 by Friulair, handles a nominal flow of 366 m³/h. It runs on single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz, draws 0.82 kW and uses R407C refrigerant. Maximum working pressure is 14 bar. The DMC 35 controller shows the dew point on an LED bar. A one-piece aluminium heat exchanger and an electronic condensate drain complete the unit. Dimensions: 555 x 580 x 885 mm, weight 54 kg.

Applications

This second-hand air dryer removes moisture from compressed air downstream of a screw or piston compressor of about 40 hp. It protects pneumatic tools, cylinders, valves and air networks in mechanical workshops, sheet metal shops, woodworking, packaging and paint lines (food processing with suitable filtration).

Key features / Advantages

Proportional capacity control keeps the dew point stable at any load. Pressure drop is low, below 150 mbar on average according to the manufacturer. The compact, light unit connects in 1.5 inch BSP and plugs into a single-phase supply. Friulair is a well-known Italian dryer manufacturer, sold in France under the Partenair brand. The 2022 build year and clean appearance make resale and installation easy. Used refrigerated air dryer for sale at All Metal, specialist in used industrial machinery.
