The Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4058 AS is powered by the proven 15.6-litre Mercedes-Benz OM473 inline six-cylinder diesel engine, producing 425 kW (578 HP) and 2,800 Nm of torque. Combined with Turbocompound technology and a EURO 3 emission configuration, the OM473 provides the pulling power required for heavy trailers, specialised transport combinations and demanding project operations.

Mercedes PowerShift 3 with PowerShift Advanced manages power delivery through the G 280-16 transmission, while the Turbo Retarder Clutch provides additional support during heavy starting, manoeuvring and controlled operation with high combination weights.

Permanent 6x6 Grounder Configuration
Traction becomes critical when heavy transport leaves paved roads.

This Arocs uses a permanent 6x6 drivetrain with a Mercedes-Benz VG 2800 transfer case, front differential lock and heavy-duty planetary rear axles. The Grounder specification and N3G off-road classification further prepare the truck for demanding operating environments.

A 9-tonne front axle, two 16-tonne rear axles and heavy-duty leaf-spring suspension provide the robust chassis foundation required for continuous operation with high loads. Additional construction-site filtration, cyclone dust filtration, elevated air intake and metal headlamp protection help protect the vehicle during operation in dusty, rough and remote environments.
