(New price (2020)The base vehicle (the 'bare' chassis):The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 419 CDI (the powerful V6 diesel variant with 190 HP and a maximum weight of 4,100 kg) cost approximately € 50,000 to € 60,000 bare — including heavier alternators, special suspension, and comfort options — (excl. VAT and BPM, as emergency services receive an exemption for this). The medical bodywork and signaling: The specialist conversion by a certified bodybuilder (such as Strobel) cost an average of € 70,000 to € 80,000. This includes the wall panels, the special floor, the stretcher, the electronics, auxiliary heaters, and the flashing lights. The medical equipment: The complete setup with equipment (such as the monitor/defibrillator, the ventilator, the electronic Stryker stretcher, and the suction pump) adds another approximately €60,000 to €70,000 to this.

Total new price more than 200,000 euros)
