MERCEDES-BENZ Vario 814D Diff Klima Standh120km/h restauriert

Restored and newly painted MB Vario 814D from government ownership / Federal Police. Configuration as a bus (group vehicle) MR / high roof with full climate control, auxiliary heater, ABS and differential lock on the rear axle, as well as a retarder – an electric, wear-free eddy current brake for speed regulation.

The bodywork has been professionally refurbished, and except for the roof, repainted in a two-tone grey/white finish. Windows and doors were removed, disassembled, and preserved after painting. The frame and chassis components were also thoroughly derusted and professionally repainted with multi-layered coating.

Technically, we performed an inspection with engine oil and brake fluid changes, replaced all four batteries, repaired the air conditioning and auxiliary heater, and replaced the plastic glazing in the driver’s cab with real glass.

Thanks to the good insulation properties, plastic glazing remains in the rear compartment.

This Vario is now ready for years of future use.

The air conditioning and auxiliary heater are highly effective:

1.) The air conditioning has two evaporators and vents above each passenger seat in the passenger area.

2.) The auxiliary heater is a circulation hot water system with convectors in the passenger compartment for draught-free heating.

Maximum speed Vmax according to registration: 120 km/h.

A total of 11 seats; the seats in the passenger compartment are lounge chairs – with adjustable backrests and armrests. Additionally, the left inner seats can be slid about 10 cm into the aisle for increased freedom of movement. There are a total of three effective roof hatches.

Interior dimensions from driver’s seat: 4000 x 1850 x 1900 mm (L x W x H).

For an additional charge of €750, we can, with the removal of seats, perform a technical modification to register as a motorhome (SoKFZ Wohnmobil). Due to space, up to 8 seats are possible in this configuration. The Vario will also be equipped with a 220V external mains power supply.
