Now in stock at Glendale we have this Morgana BM4050 Booklet System. The full system includes the VFX Sheet Feeder, BM4050 Booklet Maker with 50 sheet upgrade and BM4050 Trimmer with Square Spine Unit. The full system is in excellent condition with a sheet count of just 201,000 booklets. This complete booklet making system offers the ability to produce A4 landscape booklets in addition to A4 - A6 booklets, as standard. This system was first installed in 2023.

The BM4050 series is a versatile booklet maker designed to work with volume digital production printers. It delivers booklets of exceptional quality and is able to feed long printed sheets to produce a wide variety of applications, including A4 landscape booklets, which is becoming an increasingly important expectation of customers.

The new system architecture enables customers to produce high quality booklets from A6 to A4 landscape, and has all the key processes needed to produce corner and edge staple, folding, spine forming, and full bleed trimming, all combined in one single, easy to use system.

The Morgana VFX Feeder is a high capacity vacuum feeder capable of efficiently feeding a wide range of paper types and weights up to 15,000 sheets per hour. It’s equipped with highly automated vacuum feed technology specifically designed to handle the widest range of pre-printed media. Maximum productivity is achieved with the Automatic Tray Switching feature, enabling long unattended runs and the loading of empty trays during a run.

This new booklet maker offers the ability to produce the all new long sheets applications while maintaining the small and compact size. The BM4050 produces consistently high booklet quality on all booklet sizes and media types. The new system architecture enables customers to produce high quality booklets from A6 to A4 landscape, and has all the key processes needed to produce corner and edge staple, folding, spine forming, and full bleed trimming, all combined in one single, easy to use system. This BM4050 incldes the sheet upgrade allowing a maximum booklet capacity of 50 sheets (200 page).

The BM4050 finishing module includes a new face trimmer and square folding mechanism in a single unit. The technology is based on the successful trimmer and book fold modules with added support for longer sheets, while reducing the overall size of the system. A completely new design, two-in-one square folding and face trimming features in a single compact module. High performance quality square folding functionality ensures a high-quality booklet on a wide range of media and booklet thickness. With new trimming capabilities, the new, moving knife can cuts down to 99mm long booklets in a single cut, speeding up the process to enables a wider range of trimming inline. This gives the operators booklet size flexibility without the need to handle custom sized paper.
