OMP Prealpina 130/160mm Cascade

An ultra reliable 130 / 160mm OMP Prealpina plastics extruder, supplied by ourselves back in 2002. I have know the extruder history since new as i was the supplying agent originally. Originally supplied to reprocess confectionery Polypropylene films with 100% heavy print on the film , it performed very well in degassing and compounding the plastics materials till that contract expired. The extruder is a cascade version , allowing significant extra gas venting and polymer mixing, by utilizing a second short barrel 160mm extruder to deliver molten and clean plastic to a die face cutter, followed by a centrifuge to dry the pellet. The line has recently been fitted with an ultra efficient FIMIC fully automatic screen filter, providing probably the most efficient filtration available to plastics recyclers. being a cascade configuration , with superior filtration and venting , the line is most suitable for difficult plastics films or fibre recycling. The line has a 7 cu metre silo feeding directly into a force feed conical delivery system to the feed zone of the 130mm extruder. There is a master batch/ additive feeder included. The line was sold to a company in Lituania from its earlier owner in the UK in 2022 , but the plastic feedstock thought to be available in Lithuania never materialised. The line has been stored since, and is still dismantled and able to be shipped immediately to a new buyer.
