RANDEK AB JS400C

The Randek notching saw JS400C is designed to create notches at the end of wooden pieces, for example, to insert a bracing beam into upright posts.

The machine pneumatically clamps the wood and makes two cuts with the two 400 mm diameter saw blades. The maximum length is 380 mm, and the cutting depth can be adjusted up to 115 mm. The saw can be operated quickly and easily using a foot pedal.

Functional description
The wood to be notched, e.g., a post, is pushed into the covered saw slot until it reaches the set stop. The overhanging end is placed on a roller stand (not included). The foot pedal activates the pneumatic clamping of the inserted wood and initiates the sawing process.

Safety
The saw is well-protected against accidental contact by means of a cover plate. When the cover is opened, the electrical power is automatically cut off, which minimizes the risk of injury.
