Capabilities:

Pipe threading: 1⁄4″ – 4″ (8 – 100 mm); 4″ – 6″ (100 – 150 mm) with 161 geared threading attachment.

Bolt threading: 1⁄4″ – 2″ (6 – 52 mm).

Features:

Threads 1⁄4″ – 2″ pipe at 36 RPM and 2½″ – 4″ pipe at 12 RPM.

Model 1224 is suitable for threading various types of pipes including black, galvanized, plastic-coated pipes, as well as stainless steel, IMC, and heavy-wall pipe and rod up to 30 Rockwell C hardness.

Induction motor ensures noise levels remain within regulatory limits.

Special capacitor start/capacitor run motor allows full-range threading even under voltage drop conditions.

Uses a 1⁄4″ – 2″ universal die head and a 2½″ – 4″ adjustable die head to cut tapered or straight NPT/NPSM or BSPT/BSPP threads.

Constant and proper lubrication of dies and workpieces via head-through oiling.
