Mechatronics RPU-2100R Reagent Production Unit

The Mechatronics RPU-2100R is a reagent production unit used in hematology to optimize reagent logistics in laboratories.

The unit is manufactured by RR Mechatronics and is often used in combination with hematology analyzers from Sysmex.

Purpose and Function

The RPU-2100R (Reagent Production Unit) is used to automatically dilute concentrated reagents (such as Cellpack S Conc.) and produce large quantities of ready-to-use reagent on-site in the laboratory.

The RPU-2100R is a standalone unit with all components housed in a single, enclosed enclosure.

The enclosure features removable, epoxy-coated metal covers.

All external connections and the ON/OFF switch are located on the rear of the unit.

All user-serviceable and replaceable components are accessible via the front door.

The cart for the Cellpack concentrate (e.g., Cellpack®-S Conc.) can be attached to any three sides of the unit.

The RPU-2100R focuses on optimizing reagent management for high-throughput laboratories:
Reagent Concentrates: Uses Cellpack S Conc. in 10L and 20L containers.

Throughput per Concentrate:
Up to 8,250 complete blood counts per month can be performed with a 10L container without reagent changes.

Up to 16,500 complete blood counts per month are possible with a 20L container.

Shelf Life: Once opened, the reconstituted reagent has a shelf life of 30 days.
