SELO Linear Scalder – Stainless Steel

SELO industrial linear scalder, designed for the continuous thermal treatment of food products through scalding, especially suitable for fruit and vegetable processing lines.

The equipment allows the product to undergo a controlled thermal treatment for a specific period before subsequent operations such as cooling, IQF freezing, preservation, or packaging. Scalding is commonly used to inactivate enzymes, condition the product, and stabilize its characteristics before the next stages of the process.

PROCESS

The product is continuously fed into the SELO scalder and transported through the thermal treatment zone.

During its passage, it is subjected to controlled temperature and residence time conditions, allowing for uniform scalding before discharge.

Once the treatment is complete, the product can be directly transferred to a rapid cooling stage, avoiding unnecessary prolongation of the thermal effect and preparing it for subsequent processes.
