Industrial Water Treatment System – SIMPEC RO Double Pass 8000 44 8

The system is a fully automatic, two-stage reverse osmosis unit designed for industrial applications with a high demand for purified water. It has been developed for process water recycling, landfill leachate treatment, biogas and agricultural operations, as well as the food and chemical industries.

The system is pre-assembled on a stainless steel skid and includes all essential components for water treatment, including chemical dosing, filtration, high-pressure pumps, and automation.

⚙️ Process Description

Feed & Pre-filtration
Raw water is conveyed via a stainless steel pump into a multimedia filter (MMF) to remove suspended solids. Fine filtration is then performed using cartridge filters.

First RO Stage (High Pressure)
The pretreated water is fed by a 44 kW high-pressure pump into six RO pressure vessels with a total of 36 membranes.
Result: Permeate with < 1000 µS/cm conductivity.

Second RO Stage (Polishing)
The permeate from stage 1 is further treated in two RO vessels (8 membranes).
Result: Ultrapure water with conductivity < 100 µS/cm.

Chemical Dosing

Three dosing pumps regulate:
- Antiscalant / Acid in the feed
- NaOH for concentrate pH correction

Automatic Control
All operating parameters (pressure, conductivity, flow, pH, temperature) are monitored by sensors and displayed on the Siemens HMI.
The system operates fully automatically with start/stop cycle and alarm management.
