ZAMBON ROVER 35

We are selling a used, traditional bridge saw, type Zambon Rover 35, manufactured and installed in 1994. The machine is in excellent, freshly renovated condition, both mechanically and visually. The bridge consists of solid, heavy-duty cast iron and is mounted on two concrete support walls on sliding rails. The total weight of the machine with table is 5800 kg. Further technical data: saw blade motor 18.5 kW / 380V / 50Hz, two speeds 1460/2930 through belt drive, pivoting support 0-90° for miter cuts, carriage with 300 mm electric height adjustment, blade diameter 350 - max 800 mm, which allows a cutting depth of 18.5 cm, cutting length 3500 mm, bridge travel 4700 mm. The machine is programmed and operated via the pivoting and hydraulically vertically adjustable control panel and the switches installed in it, and via the 2-axis control system EM760.55. Up to 99 cutting widths can be programmed with repetition, a granite lowering automatic can be set, and there is a profile program. However, the machine can also be operated in manual mode without the automatic function. The feed of the carriage and the bridge is done by hydraulic drive, the bridge travel by handwheel with scale. We have all the documents for the machine, from the purchase to the operating instructions, as well as complete records of repairs and accessories, and the complete foundation plans. The machine includes a heavy-duty cast iron table 3500x200 mm, load-bearing up to 5 tons, with tiltable support frames with wooden cladding. The table can be rotated by hand and fixed at 90° and 45°, and can also be hydraulically raised by 500 mm.

The problem: 1) The machine has an electrical defect, which means that the carriage cannot be moved at the moment. The cause, which should not be major, must be found by the buyer. 2) The table is anchored to the ground with a cylinder up to about 2 m. This can be lifted out, but it will not stand on its own because of the tall cylinder. It is questionable whether the counterpart in the ground can still be removed. For this reason, and because of the costly effort involved in creating the foundation for the table, we recommend installing a different table.

Terms of sale: The stated price is therefore only for the machine and does not include the table, but the table can be taken away free of charge. The machine is still assembled and can be inspected by arrangement, but cannot be demonstrated due to the described defect. The sale is ex works, and the buyer is responsible for organizing the disassembly and transport. Assistance can be provided during disassembly, and a crane is available for disassembly and loading.
